MEGS and Character Creation

MEGS exponential system allows for a near infinite scalability in the power of your character. There is no upper cap on attribute, ability, and/or skill levels. Of course Hero Points are required of course to raise a level, and would naturally mena extensive play to continually increase the characters leavels in attributes, abilities, and/or skills.

Why would this even matter?

You have the potential to scale out the environments and encounters to meet the growing needs of the player. An average hero would reside within a city. His affiliations and knowledge would be primarily restricted to that city. If the city has law and order established and the hero needs to move on, then we can scale out a world that would be challenging. Doing this just requires manipulating the starting Hero Points of the encounters to be at or above that of the heroes themselves.

This takes out the need for trying to configure the scale, because the scale and its details are already included in the game manual. Want someone 10 times more powerful than Batman? Then take Batman's cumulative HEro Points and then work your way up the scale to find out what a 10 x Batman Villain would look like.

Despite it being labeled for DC Heroes, the system has adequate scale so you could play humans only.
